There is an urgent need to address climate issues from a health perspective.

Our health and the planet’s health are clearly linked: Climate change has been named the biggest threat facing humanity by the World Health Organization. Yet too often the work of fighting the climate crisis and responding to environmental threats is siloed and separate from the work of delivering care and achieving global health aims.

In our series Planet Health, we will explore the benefits of a shared perspective, highlighting the solutions it offers, as well as offering in-depth reporting on the current impact of the climate crisis on human health around the world.
