Advanced HIV Disease: Know Your Count


It's estimated that four out of 10 HIV-related deaths could be prevented by dealing with Advanced HIV Disease, or AHD. People living with AHD are also at greater risk of contracting opportunistic infections such as tuberculosis and cryptococcal meningitis. Yet why do people continue to die from AHD when diagnostic services and treatment exist?
