About the event

The rules of engagement and influence are ever changing even on important issues like our health. Ahead of the World Health Assembly, Devex talks with Lippi Doshi about how social media has disrupted global health communications, the role of digital in health literacy to empower populations to make healthier choices, and what truly influences health decisions in this new era.

As part of the On Message series, Devex is convening this 30-minute conference call hosted by Associate Director of Communications Carine Umuhumuza to discuss the latest trends, strategies, and priorities for communications and social media for global health. This call is the first in an ongoing monthly series highlighting individuals from across sectors who have successfully harnessed the power of social media and digital communications to advance development goals.
