About the webinar

Development finance institutions (DFIs) are an increasingly influential force in global development — bilateral DFIs are growing in numbers and in dollars spent. The balance sheets of European DFIs more than tripled between 2005 and 2015.

As part of our series on the Rise of DFIs — and building on new data analysis of 17 institutions — Devex is convening a digital event to share exclusive insights into the thematic and regional funding priorities of bilateral DFIs.

This one-hour webinar will cover:
  • The evolution of DFIs from often-siloed government entities to key development actors
  • An in-depth look at key funding trends and policies among European DFIs — from CDC Group to KfW to Swedfund
  • How to best engage with these institutions

The panel will also take audience questions. We invite you to share them during the event or in advance by submitting to [email protected].
