What to Expect
For the first time ever, Devex is bringing together all of the players in international development to discuss the future of partnerships in development. The day will feature speakers from donor agency representatives, international aid agencies, and local African development organizations as they explore best practices and latest trends in proposal partnerships. The day will host various networking opportunities, panel discussion, and workshops which will dive into the most relevant topics and questions around how to develop successful partnerships for sustainable development in East Africa.

- Attendance to the Partnerships Forum is by invitation only. If you are an East African based organization implementing development projects throughout the region, we invite you to apply here.
- The audience will be comprised of CEOs, Directors of Business Development, Team leads, and Chiefs of Party from organizations working in development fields such as health, conflict mitigation, agriculture, mobile technology, etc.
- Organizations are allowed attendance for up to 2 delegates
Please note that admission to the Devex Career Fair on Thursday, October 17th does not guarantee attendance to the Partnerships Forum. The Devex Partnerships Forum is a separate event and participants must apply here:

High-Level Plenary Panel
The Partnerships Forum commences with a high-level panel that will set the stage for the day's discussion. The panel will directly address the issue of localization of global development and how all stakeholders are changing the way they do business.
11:15 - 12:30 PM
Concurrent Panel Sessions
Following the plenary, participants will choose to attend one of four panel sessions. These sessions will have a narrow focus on specific, practical issues related to partnership and will be hosted by Partnership Engagement Sponsors (a sponsorship level we are making available to leading organizations).

The lunch hour will facilitate networking and discussion. All participants will have assigned seating and tables will be designed to match-up participants who may find value in meeting. Each table will be provided with a discussion topic and moderator to help facilitate conversation. We expect this served luncheon to be hosted by one of the primary sponsors of the forum.
