As director of global research and analysis, Pete’s primary goal is to make sense of development finance trends by providing practical, business-focused insights and guidance. An emerging markets consultant who has worked in both the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Pete was formerly an international political and security risk consultant and also served as member of the Iraq Policy and Operations Group within the U.S. Department of State. These experiences have afforded him the opportunity to get “on the ground” in different parts of the world and witness the challenges facing development practitioners.
