Since starting out with an urban inclusion NGO in Russia in 2010, Honesty hasn't looked back at dedicating her time and energy to development projects, from the hyper-local to the global community of professionals in the field. Prior to joining Devex, Honesty was working in Phnom Penh for rights-based community NGO in program and communications management, after a few years in Melbourne. An MSc in Sustainable Development consolidated her knowledge of the global development field and brought her to Devex in 2017, where she has been a copy editor, Production editor and now leads the News Production team with an impressive group of dedicated colleagues in Manila, Barcelona, and the U.S.

She works closely with reporters to ensure all our news coverage gets out to our ever-growing community. She has a strong tie to the environment, especially the sea - and spent some time volunteering with Sea Shepherd - and currently enjoys living a stones-throw away from some beautiful Spanish coves, where she can do open-water swimming between bike rides.
