What's in store for the World Bank Annual Meetings? As David Malpass restructures his leadership team in the wake of Kristalina Georgieva's departure to lead the IMF, Devex is looking at what's next for signature initiatives like the human capital index, the bank's work in fragile states, and the next iteration of the beleaguered pandemic emergency fund. Just over the horizon is IDA replenishment — raising questions about debt sustainability, climate ambition, and resurfacing debates about the private sector's role in development.
Join Devex Deputy News Editor Jessica Abrahams for a conference call with reporters Michael Igoe and Sophie Edwards as we look inside the week's biggest moments, and what this year's Annual Meetings mean for the sector.
