About the Event


On February 17, 2021, Devex will host a career fair in partnership with USAID. The USAID - Devex Career Fair is geared specifically towards development professionals, such as yourself, and USAID’s open Foreign and Civil Service positions.

Individuals interested in learning more about USAID, their open positions and the application/hiring process are encouraged to attend. Hear directly from USAID HR professionals about what they look for in applicants and interact with current Foreign and Civil Service Officers to learn more about what the jobs entail.

Who should attend?


The USAID - Devex Career Fair is for U.S. global development professionals of all stripes. You can review USAID’s open positions here to find out if you meet their qualifications and to gauge your interest and expertise.

Please read the requirements to attend the career fair below. If you meet all of the qualifications, we encourage you to register for the event.

-Must be a U.S. citizen.
-Worldwide availability is a requirement of the position.
-Must have a university degree (very often, advanced degree such as master’s or PHD but a few positions are open to people with bachelor’s degree only).
-Relevant professional work experience required.
-Those interested in joining the Foreign Service must be between 18 and 59 years old at the time of application.
