Event Overview
Despite a growing presence of digital health solutions for achieving universal health coverage, many of these solutions are fragmented and lack interoperability – so how can we ensure such efforts are streamlined to produce the best possible health outcomes? During this event, we’ll go beyond discussing the possibilities of digital health tools to further explore what it takes to create a practical enabling environment – including the right regulatory frameworks, infrastructure, and partnerships – to ensure digital tools drive progress on UHC.
Through a range of voices from across sectors, we’ll explore how to design effective digital health strategies in the context of UHC and the necessary policy frameworks needed to advance these efforts. The conversation will highlight how governments in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) can ensure data protection and safe infrastructure, as well as how efforts across sectors can be better aligned and coordinated.
