Reach our unique audience through events, advertising & custom content, and surveys & special reports
Each year Devex hosts more than 100 meaningful in-person and virtual events on issues that matter.
Whether at UNGA, Davos, Devex World, COP, or WHA, Devex reporters are on the front lines of major global events bringing the stories to our audience. At our in-person summits, policy-makers and other influencers engage with our reporters on stage to break news and give us their thoughts on the issues of the day. And our partners are right there with them breaking their own news and influencing the development agenda.
Our partners are leaders in the issues, and our in-person and virtual custom events give them the opportunity to showcase that. We’ll co-create an event with your goals and audience in mind — tying our editorial and event expertise to your subject matter leadership — to get your issue in front of the right people.
As COVID-19 spread to low-and middle-income countries with limited health budgets and a lack of resources, datasets can help determine the most urgent needs of specific communities or groups in this time of crisis, such as those of women and girls. However, many organizations and governments lack the resources and skills needed to be truly data driven.
From May to July 2020, Devex and one of the world largest technology companies partnered on a series of 10 virtual events, aiming at building capacity at government agencies, donors and development implementing organizations whether private sector, international organizations or grassroots NGOs.
In total, our joint series reached around 5 million people, with 75,000 people engaging with the microsite directly and close to 10,000 stakeholders participating in the events. A wide range of organizations also participated in the event including professionals from CIFF, IFRC, Asian Development Bank, WFP, CAF Development Bank of Latin America, UNDP, UNIDO, UNAIDS, Palladium, Christian Aid, Gavi, IFC, Malala Fund, Global Affairs Canada, USAID, FAO, Heartland Alliance, Cardno, Save the Children, Fondation Chanel, The Gates Foundation, Women Deliver, WHO and many others who joined the series from over 100 countries worldwide.
Advertise on Devex alongside our compelling news coverage.
World leaders and global development professionals are reading our news, and you can position yourself next to that through advertising on our website, newsletters, or social media platforms.
Our partners have a story to tell, and we help them tell it well. Sponsored content — op-eds, Q&As, feature articles, and visual stories — can be used to connect with the right audience and impact your issue.
A global trade association had launched a new ground-breaking index. And they wanted to make sure the right people knew about it, so they came to Devex to help do just that.
Over the course of the partnership, we created 3 original sponsored content pieces about the index and issues covered and advertised the index on our website and must-read newsletter to make our audience aware of the index and how to best use it.
Through these activities, we reached over 3 million people including many of the leading stakeholder groups and were responsible for nearly 300,000 clicks to the index and associated content.
Want to understand how global development professionals’ view an issue or your own organization? Devex will ask them for you.
Leverage survey research to understand how key partners, clients and stakeholders perceive your organization and work. We don’t just tell you what we think, but we tell you what they think — your strengths, weaknesses, position in the marketplace and much more.
The world is complicated, and one opinion alone isn’t enough to solve an issue, and decision-makers know this. But if hundreds of experts around the world are giving their ideas, that’s hard to ignore. A survey-based special report can build real insights that can help drive a conversation forward.
Digital financial inclusion is one of the most important ways to promote more effective development around the world. Devex partnered with one of the world’s largest financial institutions to learn from the people most impacted and bring fresh insights to those financing and influencing the issue.
Devex's access to a vast number of global, regional and national practitioners and decision-makers made it the perfect fit for the task. Our partner wanted to gain insights and engage those actively implementing it on the ground. They saw in Devex strong connective tissue among different groups, the ability to provide quality, forward-looking research and a global platform to promote ideas and engage audiences.
Devex created a report that captured the perspective of practitioners, policymakers and funders through an online survey including more than a thousand experts, in-depth interviews and two high-level workshops. We launched the report in the margins of the 77th U.N. General Assembly, at a Devex event bringing wide visibility. Tens of thousands of Devex audience members engaged with the report and its accompanying Devex articles.
