Alexis Bonnell

Director of the Office of Engagement and Communications, U.S. Global Development Lab, USAID

Alexis Bonnell is Director of the Office of Engagement and Communications in the U.S. Global Development Lab. Over her career, she has developed and delivered over a billion dollars of humanitarian and development programming in over 25 countries, in almost every sector, for more than 30 international bilateral donors, 10 U.N. agencies, the military, and the private sector. She has held positions with every side of development including: implementers, donors, policy makers and beneficiaries. With more than 20 years of experience in management and communications, Alexis has worked with: Wall Street and “dot.coms,” and on projects that include the Middle East Peace Plan, Afghan and Iraqi elections, tsunami and earthquake response, and major logistics operations. After working overseas, she returned to the United States with USAID as senior adviser on business transformation and knowledge management, and then chief of engagement for the Office of Education.

Marshall Stowell

Vice President, External Relations and Communications, PSI

As Vice President of External Relations and Communications at PSI, Marshall provides organizational leadership on corporate communications and advocacy, effectively balancing the needs of PSI’s more than 65 field programs and the network as a whole. He also serves as editor-in-chief of PSI's Impact magazine. Previously, he served as the director of creative enterprises and marketing at Share Our Strength, an NGO working to end child hunger in the United States.
