Land Matters: Making New Solutions Possible Through Technology
Wednesday, December 9th, 2015 10am EST (GMT-5) Land can be a difficult resource to manage -- especially in developing countries without robust systems in place. But finding ways to effectively administer land-- and doing so in a sustainable manner -- will be critical to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Issues of land rights, tenure and security are priorities for the public sector and the world's largest development donors. But the private sector too has an important role to play in ensuring effective land and property management. And rapidly evolving technology is making new solutions possible.
We invite you to join us for our webinar, "Land Matters: Making New Solutions Possible Through Technology", on December 9th at 10 AM ET, which coincides with our series Focus On: Land Matters. In this webinar, experts will take a specific look at a recent study by KPMG and Thomson Reuters, "Exploring the benefits of technology to government and society" and will dig into ways developing countries can sustainably administer land and property.
