Gender-Focused Careers in International Development

Whether its education, healthcare, or even food security, gender without a doubt plays a role in how these issues impact a community and in turn, the design of international development interventions. While donors and organizations have moved away from purely gender-focused programming, gender is mainstreamed into almost any project.

With that, there is a need for professionals who understand how gender can impact development across all sectors. What does that mean for professionals who are interested in focusing their career on gender issues? What kind of education and experience do you need to be qualified to work on gender in a development context? What kinds of positions and job opportunities are available?

Devex invites you to join us for a Career Webinar where we’ll answer those questions  and discuss how gender is impacting development with special guest speaker Dr. Patricia Morris, Director of Gender Practice at dTS, a women-run development organization. Dr. Morris will provide an overview on how the role of gender is being integrated in global development programs, and what this could mean for you as a job seeker in the field.

When: July 31st, 12 PM EST / 5 PM UK
