Devex Invested:

The future of development finance

OCTOBER 25, 2022

About the Event

On October 25, Devex will host Devex Invested: Future of Development Finance, bringing its expert analysis and journalism to bear on this urgent topic.

At this critical juncture, complex challenges threaten the global economy, compromising the ability to invest in everything from global health to economic development, especially in the world’s lowest income countries. Pandemic recovery efforts, rising food insecurity, debt and inflation are all throwing public financial commitments into question. Meanwhile funding gaps persist on nearly all fronts — from climate change to pandemic preparedness to humanitarian aid. Impact investors, development finance institutions and ESG trends are making their mark, but questions remain about transparency, impact and measurement.

Join DFIs, finance experts, aid agencies, international NGOs, corporate leaders and investors for the fourth annual iteration of this event, led by Devex Senior Reporter and Invested newsletter author Adva Saldinger. Through insightful interviews, hands-on workshops and plentiful networking opportunities, together we’ll take a practical look at the current development finance landscape and shed light on where the industry is headed.
