Executive Briefing: What Davos means for global development

This week, world leaders, business titans and technology pioneers will convene in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. This year's gathering seeks to forge a prosperous and united path forward in a world faced with enormous challenges such as increasing inequality and increasingly divisive and inward-looking politics.

The 2018 theme — "creating a shared future in a fractured world" — is likely to bring about new partnerships and commitments that seek to solve these global challenges.

How do global health, international development and humanitarian response factor into the agenda, and what are the implications for professionals working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals?

Live from Davos, Devex President and Editor-in-Chief Raj Kumar and Senior Reporter Catherine Cheney will take Executive Members inside one of the world's most exclusive gatherings.

Registered Executive Members will be emailed an access link at 9:30 a.m. EST on Thursday, January 25. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

And if you haven't already — sign up for our Devex @ Davos newsletter for a daily brief of the day's development news.
